- ZEDOTT 30 DT Tablet is used for the symptomatic treatment of acute (short-term) diarrhoea in adults and infants over three months old.
- Contains Racecadotril (30 mg), an oral enkephalinase inhibitor that reduces excessive intestinal secretions to control diarrhoea.
- Helps decrease loss of fluid, thus reducing diarrhoea symptoms and the risk of dehydration.
- Not suitable for diarrhoea associated with antibiotics, blood in stools, or suspected bacterial infections.
- Should not be used for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
- Advised to be used alongside adequate fluid intake and dietary management.
