- Torglip M OD 100/500 Tablet is a combination oral antidiabetic medication containing Vildagliptin and Metformin.
- It is used for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to control blood sugar.
- The tablet helps regulate both fasting and postprandial (after meal) blood glucose levels.
- It acts by increasing insulin release from the pancreas (effect of vildagliptin) and improving insulin sensitivity/reducing glucose production (effect of metformin).
- It can be administered alone or along with other antidiabetic drugs, including insulin or sulfonylureas.
