Ursetor 300 Tablet is used for the management of gallstones, primary biliary cholangitis (an autoimmune disorder of the liver), and liver diseases associated with cystic fibrosis in children aged 6-18 years.
Contains ursodeoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring bile acid that decreases cholesterol production in the bile and helps dissolve cholesterol-rich gallstones.
It protects liver cells from damage by toxic bile acids and improves liver function.
Should be used under medical supervision and taken as prescribed by a doctor, usually with food.
Not suitable for patients allergic to bile acids or those with calcified gallstones, inflamed gallbladder/bile ducts, duct blockages, or impaired gallbladder function.
Caution in patients with liver disease, during pregnancy (only if clearly advised by a doctor), and breastfeeding women.
Dissolution of cholesterol-rich gallstones in patients with a functioning gallbladder.
Treatment of primary biliary cholangitis (autoimmune liver disease).
Improvement of liver function in cystic fibrosis (children aged 6-18 years).
