Domstal O Capsule is an anti-reflux medicine used to treat Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and conditions resulting from excess gastric acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Contains a combination of domperidone (10 mg) and omeprazole (10 mg), acting as a prokinetic and a proton pump inhibitor, respectively.
Reduces the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus, relieving symptoms like heartburn, chest pain, nausea, and vomiting.
Improves gastric motility, hastening the movement of food from the stomach to the intestines and reducing feelings of bloating and indigestion.
Typically prescribed when omeprazole alone is not effective.
Meant for use in adults and children above 12 years (weighing at least 35 kg).
Should be taken at least 15-30 minutes before meals as directed by a healthcare professional.
