- Stretch out your arm with the palm facing upward
- Secure the cuff on your bare upper arm one inch above the bend of your elbow
- Ensure there is one finger gap between the cuff and arm
- Press the on button and remain still as the device starts measuring
- The reading will be displayed on the device
