- NEXTOP 100 Tablet is an anticonvulsant medication primarily used to treat epilepsy (seizures) and to prevent migraines.
- It is also indicated for the management of Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, mania (as part of bipolar disorder), neuropathic pain, alcohol dependence, and sometimes for weight loss.
- The active ingredient, Topiramate 100 mg, works by stabilizing abnormal electrical activity in the brain and inhibiting excessive neuronal firing, thus controlling seizures and reducing migraine frequency.
- The tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
