Newven OD 50 Tablet is primarily used to treat major depressive disorder (depression) in adults.
Contains the active ingredient Desvenlafaxine, a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI).
Works by increasing the levels of certain chemical messengers (serotonin and norepinephrine) in the brain to maintain mental balance and regulate mood.
Should be taken as prescribed by a doctor, usually once daily with or without food.
Important to continue treatment for the duration prescribed, even if symptoms improve sooner.
Discontinuation should be gradual and under doctor supervision to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
