They convert the normal 50 Hz frequency to a very high frequency of 40 kHz using Electronic Acoustic Transducers.
The transducer generates sinusoidal waves, which induce cavitation - the violent collapse of tiny vacuum bubbles within the solution. This implosion effectively scrubs every surface the solution contacts. Importantly, this process is gentle enough even for delicate materials. Ultrasonic cleaning removes rust, grease, dirt, wax, salts, blood, loose burrs, flux, and any other contaminants.
