It is undyed, 11mm in length, 3/8 circle reverse cutting Elixir needle, and comes in a 45cm (6-0) format.
The suture degrades by hydrolysis, assuring predictable and rapid absorption in tissue.
It is indicated for superficial soft tissue approximation where short-term wound support (7–10 days) is needed, especially preferred for episiotomy and skin closure.
