Meril Filaprop Synthetic Non-Absorbable Polypropylene Mesh is a knitted mesh made of strong, durable, Medical-grade polypropylene designed to provide long-term tissue reinforcement in surgical procedures.
The mesh is non-absorbable and is available in a variety of precut sizes (including 6x11 cm, 7.6x15 cm, 10x15 cm, 12x15 cm, 12x18 cm, 15x15 cm, 15x20 cm, 15x30 cm, 30x30 cm) to suit different surgical requirements.
The product features round mesh edges, unique interlocking knitting, and extensibility across both X and Y axes for optimal anatomical adaptation and minimized tissue trauma.
The mesh is sterilized using ethylene oxide and is characterized by its colourless appearance, pore size of approximately 1.0-1.2 mm, weight around 100 gsm (standard) or 45 gsm (soft variant), and thickness ranging from 0.34 mm to 0.48 mm depending on the mesh type.
Indicated for use in open and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, ventral hernia repair, fascial deficiencies, and chest wall reconstruction.
The mesh is engineered for high burst strength and excellent tissue integration, offering durable and flexible reinforcement with superior patient comfort.
