Medigrip Transparent Island Dressing (Waterproof)

Transparent Film Adhesive Dressing is a sterile, hypoallergenic, and conformable post-operative surgical dressing. It features a central absorbent, non-adherent pad that promotes moist wound healing and ensures painless removal. The dressing is breathable, waterproof, and low maintenance, serving as an effective bacterial and viral barrier to protect against infections.

Application:

• Suitable for closed, clean surgical wounds, incisions, excisions, donor sites, etc., with low to moderate exudate.
  
• Can also be used as a secondary dressing over hydrogels, alginates, gauze, or other primary dressings.
  
• Ideal for use as a tracheostomy tube dressing or catheter/cannula site cover.

Precautions:

• Consult a physician for any known or suspected allergic responses.
  
• Stop any bleeding before applying the dressing.
  
• Do not stretch the dressing during application to avoid skin trauma.
  
• Ensure the skin is clean, dry, and free from soap or lotion residue before application to prevent irritation and ensure proper adhesion.
  
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged or tampered; using a non-sterile product may lead to infection or injury.
  
• Do not re-sterilize the product.
