- Lupinem 500mg Injection is a combination of imipenem and cilastatin, classified as carbapenem antibiotics.
- Indicated for the treatment of severe bacterial infections affecting the lungs, heart, bladder, skin, kidneys, bones, joints, blood, stomach, and female reproductive organs.
- Recommended for complicated infections including abdominal, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and lung infections (pneumonia), as well as infections arising during or after delivery.
- May be used for patients with low white blood cell count and suspected bacterial fever, or for serious blood (septicemia) and heart (endocarditis) infections.
- Not recommended for use in children under 1 year or with kidney problems, and in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless advised by a doctor.
