- LCD 125 TABLETS is a combination medication containing levodopa (100 mg) and carbidopa (25 mg) used primarily to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
- Levodopa is converted in the brain to dopamine, a chemical needed for normal motor function.
- Carbidopa enhances levodopa's effect by preventing its breakdown before it reaches the brain.
- This medicine helps improve symptoms such as tremor, stiffness, slowness of movement, difficulty with balance and walking.
- Prescription is required. Not recommended for children below 18, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Take the tablets exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop or alter your dose without consulting your physician.
