- Gluconorm VG 1 Tablet is a prescription oral antidiabetic medication indicated for adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet, exercise, and other medications are insufficient to control blood sugar levels.
- It contains a combination of Glimepiride (), Metformin (500 mg), and Voglibose (0.2 mg).
- Each component works synergistically: Glimepiride increases insulin release, Metformin decreases hepatic glucose production and intestinal absorption, and Voglibose slows carbohydrate absorption.
- The tablet must be swallowed whole with water and taken at the same time each day as prescribed by your doctor.
- Not recommended for patients with hypersensitivity to its components, severe kidney or liver impairment, acute conditions like dehydration or severe infection, and certain cardiac/respiratory conditions.
