Gluconorm PG 2 Tablet is a combination of three antidiabetic medicines: Glimepiride, Metformin, and Pioglitazone.
It is prescribed for managing type II diabetes mellitus in adults when diet, exercise, and single antidiabetic agents have not achieved adequate blood sugar control.
Works by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin, improving the body’s sensitivity to insulin, and reducing glucose production and absorption in the body.
Used as an adjunct to lifestyle changes including diet and exercise.
Common side effects may include low blood sugar, stomach upset, nausea, headache, muscle pain, dizziness, constipation, sore throat, and weight gain.
