Corvadil-A Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain).
This medication combines two active ingredients—Amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and Atenolol (a beta-blocker)—to help control blood pressure when single drug therapy is insufficient.
It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, and slowing the heart rate to reduce the workload on the heart.
Continued use helps lower blood pressure, decreasing the risk of future heart attack and stroke.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels is advised during treatment.
Should be taken at the same time every day, with or without food, as directed by a doctor.
