Cefolac Drops is a pediatric antibiotic medication containing Cefixime, used primarily to treat a range of bacterial infections in children.
It is effective against infections of the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract (cystitis, kidney infections), and soft tissues.
Also prescribed for treating uncomplicated gonorrhoea and to reduce the risk of typhoid fever.
Administered orally, as per physician's advice, usually for a short course.
Should be given for the full course as prescribed to avoid bacterial resistance and incomplete infection control.
