Asprito 2 Tablet is an antipsychotic medicine used to treat various mood disorders including schizophrenia, mania, bipolar disorder, irritability linked with autism, Tourette's syndrome, and as adjunctive therapy for major depressive disorder.
The active ingredient is Aripiprazole, classified as an atypical antipsychotic that stabilizes mood by modulating dopamine and serotonin activity in the brain.
It helps control both positive symptoms (e.g., hallucinations, delusions) and negative symptoms (e.g., social withdrawal, lack of emotion) of schizophrenia.
Also known to reduce the severity of tics in Tourette’s syndrome and used for irritability in autistic disorder (mainly in pediatric patients).
Can be used as monotherapy or as adjunct therapy depending on the condition and doctor’s recommendation.
Management of schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders.
